A Radiant Tulip

We recently had the opportunity to visit these awe-inspiring tulip fields, which were a beautiful reminder of God’s creativity in designing flowering plants and of His creativity reflected through those who planted the fields with amazing colors and patterns.

I love the picture of the lone yellow tulip in the middle of the row of pink ones. I snapped a picture, first seeing only humor in the contrast. But I see now that it is a beautiful representation of how true follower of Christ should look to the world.

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matt. 5:14-16)
