Spring Mercies

The trees are budding with pretty pink petals.

The peas (surprisingly) survived 2 or 3 snow days and are now beginning to flower again.

The heirloom tomato starts for our garden and a friend’s community garden plot are popping up through the soil.

The romaine lettuce, which grew so nicely last year that we were able to give away several bags, is sprouting up as well!

The children are playing happily outside (making homes for their animals in the “jungle”) and little signs of spring are popping up around our home and yard.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to and end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lam. 3:22-23)
